- Set your date and budget
- Hire your team early. Lots of places will offer you "all exclusive", but you never know who you are going to get. I suggest hiring someone who is skilled and experienced and not assigned the day of your elopement. Ask me about my recommended vendor list!
- Apply for your marriage license in Clark County! You can pre-register up to 60 days before your elopement date.
- Make Reservations! While many places do not require them, I suggest them!
tips on getting married in las vegas
Las Vegas is filled with smaller, intimate venues and chapels that are wonderful for spur-of-the moment elopements. They are cost effective, don't require a lot of planning, and are fun and unique. One of the most convenient locations in Downtown Las Vegas is Vegas Weddings. Located right across the street from them is the Marriage License Bureau which you will make your first stop. Being an officiant myself, you could even choose to get married at Lake Mead with a gorgeous lake backdrop or at Nelsons Ghost Town both of which are within 1 hour of Downtown Las Vegas.

About 2 weeks after your elopement you will get a sneak peek gallery from me! Then at around 60 business days after your elopement you will receive your full gallery! It is so very important to us that we truly take our time editing your photos to our standards that is advertised and ensuring your memories are as perfect as your day was!

Candance was incredible! My husband and I booked an 8-hour package with her husband as the second shooter. She flew all the way down to Texas to shoot our wedding, and her pricing was extremely reasonable. We just got the photos back, and they are top-tier! Some of the photos she took could be in a bridal magazine, they were so beautiful.
We booked a Zoom meeting with her before we signed the contract to get to know her a bit and ask a few questions. We were a little jumpy because our previous photographer who we had signed with had canceled, so we had several questions for Candance. Candance was extremely kind and addressed all of our questions and concerns with care, making us feel heard and comfortable.
On the wedding day, she and her husband were amazing. They took all of the classic, expected photos and had creative ideas for other photo opportunities, and they were so kind and fun to work with, assuaging all of our wedding-day jitters with ease. A specific moment that sticks in my memory: a rain and hailstorm hit our area right after the ceremony while we were still taking pictures in the chapel, so I had to run barefoot to the reception hall, and Candance got down on her knees and wiped my feet dry with a napkin. Never in my life have I felt so cared for by someone I barely knew, and I'll always remember that moment.
