Backstory Time!
Corey and I met in 2011. I had just moved to Seattle, WA from Gulf Shores, AL and he worked at the place I got my first "real" job at! He was there in my orientation class to welcome me to the company and show us how things were done in his department. After that, we spend the next TEN YEARS as friends seeing each other at work everyday! He worked in the photo and video department and I was in Customer Service, then Real Property, then Safety before I left in 2019 to live in England (North Wales, UK) for a year and take my photography business full time.
In the ten years we worked together, he had no clue I was a photographer and I knew very little about what he actually did other than video for the company! In 2019 when I left the company, he got my Instagram and that was when he found out what I was really good at. In late 2020 he messaged me on Instagram wanting to work with me for experience and in 2021 he came and helped me with a wedding. We have literally been inseparable since and Corey is the driving support and force behind our business today. He encouraged me to never give this up even when it got hard and he believed in me when no one else did.
I truly believe I am here to make memories for others and that we were always meant to do this with each other as we flow seamlessly together.
"They were absolutely incredible to work with and my photos turned out stunning. They have that personality that makes it easy to be comfortable with which makes your photos comes out better"
Honestly, we have both been camera nerds since a very young age.
I (Candance) got my first camera when I was 15 years old. It was a small point and shoot Nikon camera, specifically a Nikon COOLPIX S01. I took that thing everywhere and I was always taking photos of birds running along the beaches in Alabama. As a someone who had a very traumatic childhood and grew up in children's homes, my camera was my only constant at that time in my life. I remember I use to say that I wanted to be photographer when I grew up but I was told it was not a real job and so I shelved it as a career, but I still did it as a hobby.
Fast forward to 2015 I was in college and taking photography electives and working full time when I given a photo project and for my project, I took a picture of a Chicken - (hello, yes, I am a farm girl). I later posted that photo to social media and someone told me "you should do weddings!" Being a wedding photographer was not on my bingo card but I said yes and for the next 4 years I shot weddings and became one of the top photographers in the Seattle - Tacoma area at that time. Eventually, this led to me a couple who in 2019 cancelled their big wedding with me after a stressful planning situation and asked me the question "do you shoot or would you shoot elopements?". I told her that I never have, but I was a HUGE outdoors person, so I would love to try and they took a chance on me and insert: I quit my day job after that experience.
It was magical. It set my heart on fire. I fell in LOVE with elopements.
As someone who has traveled to many different countries, hiked all over Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah, and more, I NEVER thought I could marry two passions into one. Being a photographer AND taking photos in the landscapes I love the most. This shows in my work as well. The work I create when I am with my couples in these places is beyond anything else I have ever produced.
So Corey got his first camera when he was 9 years old and when he hit high school, he started taking photography electives then. Along with photography, he also loved movies and used them as an escape from everyday life. He loved the stories and immersing himself into them. In his twenties he was in school for Computer Science and while watching one of his favorite films, he heard the guy who made the film say that he had decided to sell all of his comics and go to film school to be a director. Corey had no idea he could go to school to be a movie director and that when he decided that was where he wanted to take his career. Corey started film school to specialize in film making at the age of 26 and has gone on to make many cinematic films and movies, mainly in the horror context and he loves it. Outside of filmmaking, he focuses on many types of photography but his favorite being black and white and even has a camera that produces nothing but black and white photos.
When Corey met me, he probably had no idea that I was serious when I said I loved being outdoors, but, he quickly jumped on board and our journey together as creatives began. We have traveled to so many places together, shot over 250 weddings and elopements since 2021 and honestly make the BEST team. We have the same eye, same style, same personalities and I firmly believe that we were meant to walk through life together building our family and business side by side.

Why Choose Us?
In Santorini, Greece on Vlychada Beach!
It was the best day ever for us. Every time I think of our elopement, I remember every feeling, sight, sound, and smell. I honestly never thought I would get married and had thrown my dream of an international elopement out the window a long time ago. Then, in February of 2024 Corey asked me to marry him in Paris, France, at 5AM in the morning. Even better, as soon as I said yes, he told me he wanted to elope as well and my planning began!
In 2.5 months I planned our elopement from top to bottom. Flights, plane tickets, got my dress, his suit, florals, lodging, food, activities, rings, hair and makeup, shoes, everything. I planned it ALL. I had so much fun planning too and the day of, was better than I had even dreamed. While I was getting my hair and makeup done, it was STORMING outside but before it was time to go to the beach for our vows, the clouds literally parted in the sky and we had the most stunning sunset I have ever seen. After our photos were done, we went back to our little beach house, changed, and found ourselves at a cute little restaurant having the best steak and shrimp of my life followed by a walk around Oia and some frozen yogurt ice cream.
We started our next chapter of life together with a bucket list destination and a new core memory and we want to see that happen for you too.
By the way, we eloped too!
