I, (Candance),  started photographing weddings in 2015 and by 2019, I was one of the "go to" photographers in my area. Every wedding I photographed I quickly noticed had a very similar theme and that was my couples stating that they "could not wait for the day to be over". A lot of couples who have large weddings feel like they are doing it out obligation or tradition. However, as a wedding photographer who at the time had never photographed an elopement before or really even knew what an elopement was beyond running off to Las Vegas, I just continued to work and give my best. In 2019 I met a couple that uncovered and sparked something in me I had no idea was there. This couple was set to have a big wedding and just like many other couples, they were feeling the pressures of their families. About 3-4 weeks before the wedding was set to take place they cancelled it and asked me if I would be interested in photographing an elopement. I had never even thought of this, but I did not hesitate to say "YES!" We spent the next few weeks planning their elopement in Larrabee State Park in Bellingham, Washington. Their day was fun, intimate, full of love and laughter and adventure. It was this experience that sparked a fire inside of me for elopements that I could never put out and now I specialize in helping couples from all over the world plan and craft a day that is unique to each of them. I firmly believe that your elopement day should represent a day you do not want to be over. A day you will never forget. An adventure you'll remember for a lifetime. 

And honestly? We absolutely love our job.

What is corey's story?

Corey started film school to specialize in film making at the age of 26 and has gone on to make many cinematic  films and movies. We met in 2011 as we were working for the same agency and we were drawn to each other through a shared love of Photography at first. Corey started working with me in 2021 on weddings and we quickly realized we make an amazing team. Corey is passionate about storytelling in the non-traditional way and also specializes in black and white portraits. Corey firmly believes that your day should be about the two of you and no one else.
