The North Cascades are magic. Just. Pure. Magic. You cannot visit anywhere else in Washington that offers both long and short hikes with the scale of these mountains and landscapes. I have photographed more in the North Cascades than I have anywhere else and so much so that I spend my summers based in the North Cascades for elopements and in my personal time, hiking and backpacking all over this unique and beautiful place. I would love to help you plan your elopement in one of the only places that offers 360 degree views every way you turn. HOW TO ELOPE IN NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK

1.) PLAN AHEAD - The season up here is SHORT and very crowded. The best vendors who know this area are booked about a year in advance!
2.) BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO ELOPE? - The BEST times to elope in the North Cascades is between late July to early October. Keep in mind that due to weather, wild fires, rain, snow etc, this can change at any time - btu you will want to aim for a date in-between those months.
3.) ARE THE HIKES LONG? - You can have your choice here! You can hike anywhere from 20 minutes to 5-6 hours! It really depends on what views you want and how much privacy or adventure you are looking for! The North Cascades really does offer something for all skill and preference levels.
4.) BEST TIME OF THE DAY TO ELOPE? - I am a Sunrise girl for privacy and some of the best light you will get! If not sunrise, sunset! Both of these times of the day offer you stunning colors you won't get any other time of the day.
5.) WORK WITH AN EXPERT - Like someone who is based here :)! Hyia, that's me! You will want someone who knows this landscape, the ins and outs, the weather, the locations, and more. This will make your day so much less stressful :)!

The North Cascades are the most dramatic scenery Washington has to offer. During the months between July and early October, I am based in the North Cascades capturing elopements weekly and helping couples plan their best day ever. Many of my couples have booked me for 2 day adventures as this place is perfect for couples who also want to share the magic of their elopement with loved ones on day one. You can have up to 30 individuals up here and there are so many large locations nearby to host your micro wedding and then on day 2, my couple and I go adventure to take some of the most incredible portraits. If you are looking for a photographer with extremely intimate knowledge and is based right in the North Cascades, then you have found your girl!

Candance was incredible! My husband and I booked an 8-hour package with her husband as the second shooter. She flew all the way down to Texas to shoot our wedding, and her pricing was extremely reasonable. We just got the photos back, and they are top-tier! Some of the photos she took could be in a bridal magazine, they were so beautiful.
We booked a Zoom meeting with her before we signed the contract to get to know her a bit and ask a few questions. We were a little jumpy because our previous photographer who we had signed with had canceled, so we had several questions for Candance. A specific moment that sticks in my memory: a rain and hailstorm hit our area right after the ceremony while we were still taking pictures in the chapel, so I had to run barefoot to the reception hall, and Candance got down on her knees and wiped my feet dry with a napkin.
